Do note that no matter what you drink as a singer you still need to have the ability to sing high notes.
By ability, I mean that you can actually sing high notes consistently and not that you might hit some of the high notes once in a while. You have to keep in mind that everybody is differently built, if you try out some of the below drinks you will notice that not all of them work for you as a singer, although this is normal. In addition to drinks that will help you sing higher notes, it is extremely important to also incorporate in your diet some healthy foods. Foods and drinks do go hand in hand, no matter what magical drink you are using if your overall diet is crap you will not see any results.
As a general rule, you will have to avoid any sugar and caffeine when it comes to drinks, sugar and caffeine do not help your voice, in fact, they can even hinder your progress as a singer. You will see a couple of teas listed below if you can not drink it without any sugar then my recommendation is to sweeten it with honey. Just be careful that you do not use some kind of synthetic honey, which is some kind of jello with sugar, just get some organic honey.
Another very important aspect when it comes to drinks that will help you sing higher notes easier is the temperature of the actual drink. Avoid at all cost drinks with ice in them or which are chilled, even if it is a hot summer day. Once you drink something colder than room temperature your vocal cords will contract and will alter your voice significantly for a couple of minutes or even hours, with your vocal cords being contracted you will not be able to sing high notes.

Ginger tea is excellent for singing high notes, and if you even combine it with lemon and with honey its effectiveness increases tenfold. Ginger has been used for thousands of years for vocal remedies, as it is filled with antioxidants and has even anti-inflammatory properties. Drinking ginger tea doesn’t mean that you can sing high notes for hours at a time, although it is possible I do not recommend it as your vocal cords will start hurting eventually.
The problem is that most singers use ginger tea when they already notice that their throat hurts, while this will help reduce the inflammation and speed up the recovery process it is not the best use of ginger tea if you want to sing high notes. Consistency is the key, you will have to drink ginger tea once every day to get the full healing and relaxing properties that it gives, after a weak or two you will notice the benefits.

Honey Tea
You will see a lot of different teas on this list, mainly because they do have healing properties and even injury prevention properties which often come with singing high notes for long periods of time. Honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, meaning that if you are a beginner singer struggling to hit the higher notes you will probably injure your vocal cords at some point. If you drink honey tea before singing high notes it will aid you in fighting any potential injuries or even infections due to straining your vocal cords.
If you are not a big fan of tea, then my suggestion is just to eat a teaspoon of honey before you start singing. In case you feel that you put too much pressure on your vocal cords while hitting the high notes then you can eat or drink honey to prevent inflammation and to speed up your recovery process.
Lemon Tea
Lemon has extremely valuable properties for singers, it is full of antioxidants and jam-packed with minerals and vitamins. Some singers are even eating a whole lemon before they sing, although this is not necessary as the body has a limit on how much minerals and vitamins it needs and all the rest will be eliminated in the toilet. However, if you are making lemon tea then you have to use at least 2-4 slices of lemon.
Do note that when I am saying lemon tea I actually mean tea made with the actual lemon fruit and not some dehydrated tea that has some lemon in it. These dehydrated teas will not benefit your singing voice at all, and most of them do contain preservatives and artificial sweeteners which are not beneficial for your voice, especially if you are trying to hit the higher notes. Warm Water
If you do not have anything available then warm water will still aid you in singing high notes. The trick is that the water should be lukewarm and not actually hot. The benefits of warm water are mostly due to the fact that it hydrates your body and somewhat cleans the mucus formed on your vocal cords. Do note that you should not add any sugar to the water as sugar is not good for your voice.
Most importantly you have to control yourself by drinking it slowly, taking a few sips, and do not focus on the actual quantity that you are drinking.
Aloe Vera Drinks
There are a lot of drinks that do contain aloe vera, however, not all of them are beneficial when it comes to singing high notes. Most drinks which include aloe vera are also filled with preservatives and a lot of sugar which are detrimental to your voice. My personal recommendation is to search for a pure aloe vera drink, which only contains bits of aloe vera and water. If you have never tried it you will be amazed how much better you will sound after drinking it, although it tastes kind of awful.
Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties, which will protect your vocal cords from injury while you are singing high notes. As is the case for the other drinks in this list you should incorporate aloe vera into your daily diet and even drink it before you start singing.
Cucumber Water
Cucumber water has only started trending a couple of years ago, and not even in singing circles. Cucumber water has become very popular in health and fitness groups and has slowly started to gain traction in singing groups as well. Although a lot of people exaggerate the effects of cucumber on singers, but it still has some benefits for singers. Some singers will claim that the vitamins and minerals of the actual cucumber will do miracles for your voice, but the truth is that this is simply not the case.
Cucumber water actually only helps with hydration, and this is why some singers can get the extra edge when it comes to singing high notes. Arguably you will get the same vocal benefits by simply hydrating yourself properly, but you have to try it out yourself as it might work for you.
